When planning your outdoor adventure we encourage spending some time taking in the night sky.
Near Full Moon expect bright night skys with visible shadows being cast from the moonlight - a great time for a night hike!.
Near New Moon expect best views of the stars on moonless nights with little light pollution - much different than the view in town.
The RV/Tent area is a great place to see the night sky or if you want even less light pollution some points on the ridge are even better.

NOTE: We will see a total Lunar Eclipse on Mar 14 2025 starting around midnight and peaking at 3:00 am.
